A new malware, dubbed BloodyStealer, is targeting thousands of online gaming accounts across the globe


This malware was discovered in March of this year, claiming it can steal passwords, cookies, bank card details, browser autofill data, device data, & more. Despite being relatively new, the malware has infected gamers in Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region.

It’s spread has been so prominent since it uses a malware-as-a-service distribution model, meaning it can be purchased on the dark web for a monthly fee or lifetime license. It has tools designed to be difficult to analyze by researchers and law enforcement.
